<p>A federal judge has allowed Missouri’s top court to proceed with a contempt hearing for Secretary of State Denny Hoskins in a dispute over new congressional districts supported by President Donald Trump. The state Supreme Court is to hold the contempt hearing Thursday. That court previously ordered Hoskins not to use a Trump-backed map in the November election. But on Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Stephen Clark barred Hoskins from using anything other than the new map Trump supports. State attorneys representing Hoskins wanted Clark to block the contempt hearing. But the federal judge declined to do so.</p>
